Fixer-Upper Has Huge Garage, Strange Bird Mural, Asks $429K

New, 3 comments

This house is a bit of a mystery: there are odd brick outcroppings on the kitchen walls, a mural of an eagle and flamingos, and a loft-style bathroom (yes, really.) Brokerbabble optimistically spins this as "Awaits for your personal touches", but really, it looks like the previous owner's personal touches need to be undone.

Even though it looks like a standard issue rowhome on the outside, the inside speaks of a half-finished industrial warehouse conversion. The strange brick outcroppings, unfinished walls, and exposed beams certainly would lend themselves to a gritty adaptive reuse aesthetic, but they also look like

Of course, this property does come with super high ceilings, a loft that could also be a bedroom (if the unenclosed bathroom were to be enclosed,) skylights, and a huge, deep garage.
