Enormous Tudor Manor in Need of TLC Asks $380K

New, 4 comments

This Wynnefield manor needs a little work: nothing's broken, but according to the listing, a few radiators need replacing, and the photos do show a few signs of wear and tear. That said, the place is huge, gorgeous, and has lots to make the effort worth it.

The best part of this listing might be the ridiculous brokerbabble. Apparently there are lots of rumors about this house, and the listing agent is here to tell you all of them. The home "is said to have been the residence of the famed Reisman pretzel family", the ironwork in the house is "thought to be the work of a disciple of master blacksmith Samuel Yellin", and the most recent owner was an "acclaimed dean". One suspects that the broker is doing all this thinking, acclaiming, and saying, but who knows?

House Vitals:
Size: Six bedrooms, three and a half baths, 4,312 sq ft
Amenities include: A library/solarium, countless functional fireplaces, stained glass, a two car garage, intricate iron work, a slate roof, in-law suite, and a yard.
Asking price: $380,000

· 2265 Bryn Mawr Ave [Trulia]
