What Does $1250 Rent Around Philadelphia?

New, 1 comment

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a dive into the options available for a certain price point in various neighborhoods. Is one person's studio another persons's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $1,250/month.

^The first contender, a four bedroom corner rowhome in Point Breeze is enormous for its price. Though there's only one full bath, there's also a deck and a garage, and a washer dryer. Of course, some of the photos look like this place might be on the shabbier end of shabby-chic, but it's still an amazing deal with a rent of $1300/month.

^ The second contender, a Bella Vista townhome, also has 4 bedrooms and a shabby-chic vibe. Though it's certainly not as big as the house in Point Breeze, it does include exposed brick and a nice little yard. Rent is $1200/month.

^The last apartment for your consideration is a three bedroom in University City with dark hardwood floors, a clearly new kitchen, (check out that backsplash,) and lots of closet space. Thought it is in a sought after location, it doesn't offer a yard, deck or parking. It does, however, look very clean and new, and rents for $1200/month.
