Greensaw Renovation in NoLibs Relisted After $10K Chop

This one-bedroom "Working Man's House" near Fourth and Girard went on the market in September 2012 after owner Matthew Emerson renovated it and contracted Greensaw Design/Build to create a sustainable expanded kitchen with a green roof on top. The kitchen has all kinds of fun details: custom cabinets made from reclaimed cypress from Kennett Square mushroom beds; a Bill Curran backsplash; countertops made from reclaimed oak library tables; and framing made from movie sets.

In September, the 750-square-foot home was listed at $249,000, but it was taken off the market in December. It was relisted yesterday at $239,000. We'll see what happens now.
