Philadelphia has just become $1 million richer. Philly has been named one of five cities that will receive a grant from the Bloomberg Philanthropies' Mayors Challenge for Mayor Michael Nutter's proposal: Philadelphia Social Enterprise Partnership. Nutter's plan proposes that "Philadelphia will put R&D into RFP, reforming our procurement processes to provide a path for creative entrepreneurs with innovative solutions to work with city government, tackling the toughest urban challenges."
