Hidden in Plain Sight

Monuments are meant to be seen, right? Well apparently not when it comes to the 175 year-old Newkirk Viaduct Monument, which is tucked away from plain sight near the 49th Street overpass in Southwest Philadelphia. Even stranger is the fact that the monument was moved from its original location sometime after 1927. [Hidden City photo: Bradley Maule]
