School's Out Forever

The Philadelphia school district says that they'll take community voices into account when deciding what to do with vacant school buildings, and that all decisions will be made by teams that include community stake holders. NBC 10 reports: "Each team will consist of between two and four members from community organizations, up to three school district representatives, a member of the city planning commission and representative from a city councilperson's office. A representative from a state legislator's office can be included on a case-by-case basis." [NBC 10]
