This year, Philly tech week kicks off with a giant video game tournament. No, literally, a GIANT video game tournament. Dr. Frank Lee, Drexel professor and vintage video game enthusiast, has created a version of Pong that can be played on the wall of the Cira Center, using its characteristic LED lights to animate the game. Players will stand on the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum while playing.

The Pong tournament will be held twice over the course of Philly Tech Week. The first tournament kicks off on April 19th. Tournament participants will be selected through an internet drawing. If you're interested in playing, you can put your name in here. The lottery closes on April 12th at 5 p.m., and participants will be notified before Wednesday, April 17th.
