Guns

This week, Nutter signed a bill banning guns in playgrounds and city-owned recreation centers. Given that there have been more than 50 shootings at public playgrounds and rec centers since 2010, this bill sounds pretty reasonable. However, Pennsylvania's Uniform Firearms Act of 1995 makes it illegal for any county, municipality or township to regulate an individual's possession of firearms, so the law might not last long.
