Society Hill, usually perceived as one of the safest neighborhoods in the city, has experienced three high profile shootings in the past three years. Though a look at crime stats will tell you that Society Hill does experience much lower crime rates than the rest of the city, it's still part of Philly, and still has to contend with Philly's high homicide rate.
