Here's a look at the slow-but-steady appearance of passive houses (houses which use very little energy) throughout Philadelphia. Though the houses aren't exactly catching like wildfire, proponents say "there's no reason why any developer can't now build this way", and hope that more builders and homebuyers will look toward passive houses to reduce energy costs.
