Mayor Nutter, who has enthusiastically maligned tax delinquents as "trifling and raggedy people" and threatened to "chase their little asses down" (how does he know how big their asses are?) may find himself chasing his own tail.
As of today, nothing. Though a lien was placed on his home due to an unpaid $500 Philadelphia Gas Works bill, the balance was paid in full, and his home is free and clear. It's good that he paid the bill, but it's still a significant oversight for a high level public official to make.
Especially when you consider that District Attorney Seth Williams was also a little late with his gas bill last year. Though his bill was also paid in full (by April 14th 2012), one wonders why both the DA and the mayor have missed paying their bills recently.
