The owner of the historic firehouse slated for demolition at the corner of Reed Street and South Water Street has agreed to meet with the Pennsport civic association and Councilman Mark Squilla. Though there's no word on whether total or partial destruction is in the plans for the firehouse, the New York state based company that owns it promised that it won't come down before a community meeting.
