'Artist's Loft' Fashioned Out of Former School Gym Asks $330K

New, 2 comments

Schoolyard trauma often provides the raw materials from which artists create, years later. What better place to live for an artist, then, than a former school gym? Though this loft does show signs of its former life, it also offers sixteen foot ceilings.

Though the exterior walls aren't made from the most stylish materials, they fit with a sort of spartan aesthetic that seems to have guided the architect. The spiral staircase, slightly more swish, leads to a somewhat disappointing (or also spartan) kitchen, and the bedrooms.

Broker babble mentions ample closet space, a washer and a dryer, and ceiling fans (which probably means there's no central air.)
House Vitals:
Size: Two bedrooms, 1.5 baths
Amenities include: A sad kitchen, a loft, huge windows, a spiral staircase, cinderblock walls, unique design, sixteen foot ceilings.
Asking price: $329,900
· 625 Christian Street [Trulia]
