An interactive map put out by UC Berkeley shows that Philly zipcodes have much smaller carbon footprints than suburban zipcodes in the area. For instance, the zipcode that includes University City and Mantua had an average carbon emission of 29 metric tons per household, while Gladwyne's average annual household emissions were 81.7 metric tons.
