Uber X and Lyft probably won't be seeing legislation regarding permits for the ride-sharing service in Pennsylvania any time soon. From The Inquirer: "I'm glad we've slowed down this process," said Rep. Robert Matzie (D., Allegheny). "The likelihood of legislation passing next week is slim to none." Legislators need more time to draw up consumer protections, mainly issues surrounding both driver and passenger insurance requirements. Meanwhile, Uber Black is "thriving" under the regulations set forth by the Philadelphia Parking Authority. [The Inquirer, Image: Trail of Liberty]
