Center City District announced that the ice skating rink we were promised since the beginning will officially open to the public on Nov. 14. The rink will be sponsored by the Rothman Institute and be open seven days a week through Feb. 22, 2015. That means you have a full three months to attempt to learn how to ice skate! An effort certainly made easier by the "Learn-to-Skate" program, which will be a 45-minute session every Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m.
Admission: $3 for children, ages 10 and under, and $4 for adults. Skate rental will be $8.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Notes: You can book a private birthday party or group event at the ice rink.
