Trumbauer's Ceiling

BLT Architects recently spearheaded an intricate renovation of the Union League's Lincoln Hall. PlanPhilly chronicles the history of the massive Civil War-era building and takes a look at the magnificent treatment of the hall's 29-foot ceiling to Horace Trumbauer's original 1911 plans. Says League historian James Mundy, "I have yet to hear anyone utter a single word of negative criticism -- and that rarely happens around here." [PlanPhilly]
