Green Street Project Gets the Green Light in Northern Liberties

New, 1 comment

The 400 block of Green Street will soon look very different. Gone will be the dumpy vacant warehouse at 413 Green Street that last housed digital imaging center, soon to be replaced by 10 new houses designed by KJO Architects and developed by Frost Development Co. It's Northern Liberties, so you know they're going to be boxy. But hey, it's right around the corner from Del Rossi's Cheesesteaks and Silk City, so the location is solid.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that the sale of the warehouse was recently finalized for $1.58M. The building (of non-historical significance) will soon be razed for construction of the homes. Four units will front Green Street, with the remaining six on Wallace Street. The initial rendering shows three-story units. There's no word yet on a timeline for the project or price-range for each home.
