The Soldiers National Museum in Gettysburg will close its doors on Nov 2. The museum features a collection of Civil War artifacts, including a Confederate encampment, and saw as many as 400,000 visitors per day back in the 1960s. An auction will be held in on Nov. 21-22. The self-guided tours just weren't bringing in the people said president Matt Felty. "Visitors want a more hands-on, tech-heavy experience. We don't really have that here."
