Here's a Window Washer's View from One Logan Square

People are getting one hell of a view of One Logan Square today from a slightly different vantage point — hanging from the side of the building. A fundraising event for Outward Bound's Building Adventure Event is having 130 people rappel down the side of the 31-story office building over a two-day period yesterday and today. Brandywine Realty Trust owns the building and also kicked in some dough to have the event. "It's pure philanthropy," BRT's chief executive Gerard Sweeney told The Inquirer (he rappelled on Thursday). By the time the final two boots touch the plaza near The Four Seasons at 4 p.m., the event will have raised between $200,000 and $250,000 for the Philadelphia Outward Bound School. Mayor Michael Nutter was apart of the group on Thursday and it looks the the Villanova Wildcat and St. Joes Hawk are on the line today. Want a window washer's view of One Logan Square?
