While all of the SEPTA-related hoopla has been about the extension of weekend overnight subway service, regional rail riders are like, "who the hell cares, our rush hour trains are packed!" They have a point. SEPTA says 15% of rail cars are out of service any given day and the new Silverliner models carry 12 less passengers than their old iteration.
