After months of heated voting, hoping and nail-biting, it's officially official: The East Conservancy Plaza at Longwood Gardens has been named "America's Best Restroom" by the Cintas Corp. We brought you the news back in October that the ultimate Philly-area jawn of john's was on the shortlist for the prestigious award. And while such an award may seem silly, it does highlight an architectural wonder. After all, the Plaza plays host to the largest living wall in North America, consisting of over 47,000 ferns and sub-tropical plants. Designed by landscape architect Kim Wilkie in 2010, we're almost certain to say that Longwood Garden is proud to say they're Number One.
