Fantastic Federal-style Townhome Gone Modern Asks $1.378M

New, 4 comments

Here's an oldie but very, very goodie: 264 S. 9th St., a 3-bed, 2.5-bath Federal style townhome built around 1817, just hit the market asking $1.378M. While Washington Square West isn't without its fair share of stunning homes, it's fun to peek inside one that offers strikes a quality balance of historic features (check the Federal Pennsylvania blue marble mantles on the fireplaces) and modern design, such as the dramatic open floor plan in the living/dining room and kitchen. The home was tastefully re-imagined by Philly-based architectural firm Voith & Mactavish, who know a thing or two about interior design. While we're not sure we could foot the million dollar plus bill for this place, we're 100% positive that you'd have a hard time getting us out of the third-floor office. · 264 S.9th St. [Redfin]
