The Philadelphia internet was sent into a tizzy last Thursday night when news broke that the 12-story Hudson Hotel was slated replace a run-down parking garage, the home of Little Pete's diner, at 17th and Chancellor Street. At the time of the announcement, there were only two renderings floating around that depicted a sleek, modern-looking design that left most people wanting more, from the design that is. Now, This Old City has gotten its collective hands on a few more looks at the slender boutique hotel and how it will fit into the surrounding area, including nearby St. Mark's Church at 16th and Locust. It's expected to be completed by 2016, if everything goes according to plan.
