The Domino Effect Continues: 1635 Market Street Sold to Nightingale Properties

Here we go, guys: we were promised a "string" of office building sales around the Philadelphia area before the year is done, and not to disappoint, the Inquirer reports that 1635 Market Street has been sold to New York real estate firm Nightingale for an undisclosed price.

The sale follows at the heels of the sales of Three Penn Center and Eleven Penn Center, and hopes for the future of the building, originally developed as the regional headquarters for IBM are high. The Inquirer reports:

"This is an exciting opportunity for this building. The owner is committed to transforming 1635 Market into a modern, high tech facility," said Maloney, vice president in CBRE's center city office, in a statement.
