Art Museum: This classic Philadelphia neighborhood features beautiful historic architecture and a tremendous restaurant scene. The Ben Franklin Parkway has been transformed into an easier-to-navigate green space brimming with all kinds of development, including the mixed-use Rodin Square project that will boast a Whole Foods on the ground floor of a 293-unit luxury apartment building. While Frank Gehry's plans for the Art Museum itself received mixed reviews, living near Fairmount Park (and gorgeous Kelly Drive) while still being so close to Center City is a huge draw for the neighborhood. A retooled Schuylkill River trail provides even better connection to both West Philly and Rittenhouse and beyond.
