It's the most won-der-ful time of the year! No, we're not talking about the holiday season. It's time for Curbed Cup 2014! Each year, we pit eight Philly neighborhood's in a winner-take-all bracket challenge that ultimately crowns the top 'hood in the city. Passyunk Square took the inaugural title in 2012. East Passyunk Crossing kept the South Philly mojo rising in 2013. Will we see a repeat winner or will a new neighborhood emerge as the Best Neighborhood in Philly? Here's how it works.
Nominate your neighborhood by leaving a comment on this post or shooting us an email to the tipline from now until Dec. 12. We'll tabulate the entries to form an 'Elite 8' of Philly neighborhoods that will square off for the title. Then, we'll put it to a reader vote between Dec. 15 and Jan 2.
And don't simply drop us a name, either. Give us your reasons why your neighborhood is the King of the Hill. Has your neck of the woods been teeming with all kings of game-changing development? How about a new restaurant or shop that has ignited the scene in your area? What other neighborhood amenities or treasures make it worthy to be entered into Curbed Cup 2014? Tell us today and it could very well be the reason your neighborhood wins the coveted Curbed Cup.
