Wisteria Disco Lighting To Adorn Spring Garden Connector

New, 4 comments

The Delaware River Waterfront Commission's relentless quest to connect Philly's streets to its eastern river has led them to propose a floral light installation for the area beneath the bridge on Spring Garden street between Second Street and Front Street.

The panels in the rendering are aluminum sheets, upon which images of greenery meant to evoke wisteria and leaves, in an homage to the street's name. The Spring Garden Connector will also incorporate bus stop curb bump outs and LED lighting along the structure of the bridge.
