Sweetgreen's New Shop; Philly Beer Week Tickets On Sale

WASHINGTON SQUARE WEST — Looking for a new healthful lunch option? Fast casual, local-minded salad shop Sweetgreen opened its third area location this week. It lacks some of the perks of their U City shop, but their salads are always a good bet.

QUEEN VILLAGE — After a few false starts, former East Passyunk BYOB Karina's has settled on moving to a new neighborhood. The space has housed a few critical successes that still couldn't quite make it, and the most recent owner called it quits after just a few months without paying her employees. Can Karina's break the curse?

PHILADELPHIA — We're currently in the midst of the first-ever Philly Wine Week, and there's no shortage of great events all over the city for seasoned wine geeks and curious novices alike. Make the most of it this weekend with our easy Wine Week planner, which maps out all the venues and fills you in on exactly what's going on, wherever you are in the city.

CENTER CITY WEST Philly Beer Week, meanwhile, is still a couple of months away — but tickets are now on sale for the always-popular Opening Tap party. This year, the event is moving into a new, larger venue and will give you a first taste of this year's special collaborative brew, Philly Tripel.
