In less than a month, both the Suit Corner and the Shirt Corner-- two shops that shared a very noticeable aesthetic at the intersection of Third and Market, have fallen apart. Just two weeks ago, the Shirt Corner collapsed, and today, the Shirt Corner went up in flames.
As of 10:37 AM, the Philadelphia fire department contained the blaze, but according to Philly.com, there are still hot spots. Though one firefighter is being treated for a minor injury, no one was seriously hurt or killed.
Less than a month ago, The Shirt Corner, which shared the Suit Corner's design scheme collapsed while under demolition.
