CHOP's latest development at 700 Schuylkill Avenue was granted zoning relief from the Philadelphia City Planning Commission yesterday, so long as they continue to work with neighbors to better integrate it with the surrounding area. CHOP presented a laundry list of changes they've made in response to concerns about the proposal, including less curb cuts on the South Street Bridge and a pedestrian bridge to connect to the Schuylkill Banks Trail, but neighbors believe there is more work to be done to bring "life" to the edges of the project.
