Pick A Place: Post Holiday Weekend Hangover Edition

Welcome to Pick a Place. Here is the gist: We found three apartments in the $1500/month range. You give them a look and then vote for the one you like best. And hey, we're sorry you had to go back to work today, but you are in need of a new apartment—or at least want to gawk at some. Let's get this party started.

Apartment 1: One bedroom loft in Waverly Court, $1500 - Washington Square West
Located on 13th Street, this 700 square foot lofty-type space has all of the amenities you're going to need: the floor plan is spacious, has new appliances, and is near restaurants and bars. It's also in the Waverly Court apartment complex that utilizes a secure access intercom. The only bummer is that there are no pets allowed.

Apartment 2: One bedroom apartment, $1500 - Fitler Square
This one bedroom apartment near 24th and Spruce is nestled in between Schuylkill River Park and Fitler Square. It's also a short walk to UPENN and Rittenhouse Square. So yes, it's location is key. Features that are also important are the high ceilings and the wood plank floors. While the listing hails it as a "sun soaked" one bedroom, the pictures don't really paint that type of picture.

Apartment 3: One bedroom apartment in RiverWest, $1450 - Center City
This RiverWest apartment is the cheapest of the the group, but it's also the smallest. Coming in at a whopping 538 square feet, what this place lacks in space it makes up for in a view. This space on the 17th floor has clear vantage points of all of South Philly and boasts amenities like all inclusive utilities, on-site fitness center and prime location on Chestnut Street near Rittenhouse Square. While pets are allowed, this spot isn't available to rent until August 1st.
