It looks as though construction crews are prepping the surface lot on the corner of 18th and Arch Street. We passed by the site yesterday to see a large crane being placed in the former parking lot that was cleared a few weeks back. Could it be for some sort of groundbreaking in the near future for say, a 59-story, 1,100 plus feet high skyscraper designed by Sir Norman Foster? A summer 2014 groundbreaking was always in the plans for the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center but no firm date has been announced.
