Seger Dog Park Reigns Supreme as Philly's Best Dog Park

In case you didn't notice, Friday was the culmination of Curbed Philly's first-ever Outdoors Week and we gave ya'll the weekend to pump up your favorite Philly dog park. The arguments have been made, posts have been shared and votes have been tallied. It's time to call it —Seger Dog Park takes the crown of Philly's Best Dog Park with 42% of the vote. You simply love Seger's two-zone dog park and winding pathway through the well-kept mulch and wood chip play area. The hydration station and plentiful seating options proved too much to handle for runner-up Schuylkill River Dog Park, who could only muster 27% of the vote. While your pup probably loves to go to Seger to play and meet other dogs, the sense of community built by the humans there was another big plus for those voting. Let's face it, all of these parks are awesome in their own ways. Any place to legally get your dog off-leash is a community treasure and should be celebrated. Thanks to all of you who voted and stumped for your favorite dog park, but an even bigger thank you to the people who make these parks possible through their hard work and commitment to beautiful pooches of Philadelphia!
