We Get It, Everyone Hates to Drive in Philadelphia

New, 1 comment

It's time for another one of those lists that you may or may not entirely care about at face value. Basically, it confirms all of which you already know — most everyone hate to drive in and around Philadelphia. According to a recent report from the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, Philly ranked fourth out of ten American cities where people don't like to drive, only Boston, Washington D.C. and New York City ranked higher (or lower?) on this list of hellhole highways and congested streets. Oddly enough, it's not only the Schuylkill Expressway's fault. Basically, most of Philly is highly accessible by SEPTA and walking that almost 33% of households don't even have a car. 26% commute to work and it scored well in bikeability, meaning that alternative modes of transportation are on the rise in the Philadelphia region. Something tells us that you knew that already.
