The Dalian/Rodin Square officially broke ground yesterday on the future mega-complex that will house 293 super-luxe apartments and a 55,000 square foot Whole Foods. Last time we checked in with the project, we were lauding the 35,000 square foot Sky Park overlooking the Ben Franklin Parkway. Now, officials announced a large CVS Pharmacy and a branch of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital will also be located on site. Throw in the infinity pool, outdoor grilling zone, a dog washing room and 500 parking spots and this $160M project pretty much has it all. That includes this amazing quote from the groundbreaking ceremony. According to The Inquirer, Developer Brady Nolan said "...every great project must have three things: location, location, and Whole Foods." As far as we're concerned, no truer words have ever been spoken.
