Fear not, lovers of incredibly creative and fun pop-up parks, Spruce Street Harbor Park will now run through September 28th! Originally slated to pack up shop on September 1st, the park has been one of Philly's most popular destinations this summer — especially on the Instagram machine. Spruce Street Harbor Park, or #SSHP, has over 3,100 filtered photos tagged on the photo sharing site of all things from people (and puppies) loungin' in the hammock grove, enjoying free concerts, taking in the views from the floating barges and yes, partaking in a libation or two. Haven't been able to hit up one of the best urban beaches in the entire world this summer? You know have a full month to get on that. Oh, and p.s., The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is busy planning their next big thing for the winter months with Waterfront Winterfest at the ice skating rink on Penn's Landing.
