This doesn't have a whole lot to do with Philly (hey, we have two IKEA stores in the region) as much as it does with it being awesome. To celebrate the opening of a new store in France, IKEA teamed up with communications company ubi bene to create a climbing wall constructed of IKEA furniture. We all had a chuckle at their poking fun at Apple, but this latest publicity stunt is miles better. It lets people interact with their beloved modular furniture in a whole new way while providing an amazing junxtaposition of design set alongside of the Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral.
Our only question: Does the new store have dollar cones?
