The William Spafford House (also briefly known as Tori's Brickhouse) at 626 Front Street was granted final approval by the Philadelphia Historical Commission for a major restoration project that would return the building to residential use. Plans by architect Stephen Maffei, of Abitare Design Studio, LLC include: the restoration of the building's façade, the removal of added bays, and among other things, the addition of an operable skylight on the top floor.
