Instagrammer @ramblephl can't tell you precisely how she got into urbex, but says she's "always loved exploring in general, anything that requires a challenge." Through her urbex photographs, she explores the town she's grown to love since moving here in 2007 from Bethlehem, PA. Her photographs are careful, quiet, softly-lit portraits of vacancy, of plastic dinosaurs covered with dust, and dilapidated gyms and empty classrooms. Her photographs have an innocence to them: taken by someone treading lightly through the abandoned spaces she documents.
Of her photographs, @ramblephl says: "I wish I could say there was more of a profound message behind my photos... but there really isn't. To me, my photos represent adventure. Life easily passes us by, whether we're on the couch, at our jobs, or in a flooded basement tunnel. I want to live it through my experiences and my photos."
