Philadelphia 2035: South District

On Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Philadelphia High School for Creative & Performing Arts, the second public meeting will be held to further discuss Philadelphia 2035 plans for the growth of the South District. At the first meeting in December, community members determined that a lack of green space, Grays Ferry Avenue, the Snyder Broad Street Line station, and Girard Park were some of the weaknesses to be addressed by the Philadelphia 2035 plan. This second meeting will expand upon what was discussed at the first meeting and will allow the community to weigh in on what improvements they would like to see happen in the future. [Passyunk Post]
