To get to know more about Philadelphia, the minimal website, Philly Is, offers new and old quotes about the city. One quote reads, "Yes, [Philadelphia is] horrible, but in a very interesting way," from director David Lynch. Another featured is, "It is a handsome city, but distractingly regular," from author Charles Dickens. Of course, not all of the quotes are so snarky, but the funny ones are. Project developer Davis Shaver told Technical.ly that he created Philly Is simply on a whim last summer. It was "the best use [he] could think of."
