This weekend is the 2015 Gore-Tex Philadelphia Marathon. That's good (or, terrifying) news for runners, but bad news for drivers. Here's a list of all of the roads in Philly that you should probably avoid this weekend, as they'll all be closed at some capacity for the weekend race festivities. Streets will start to shut down on Friday and won't open until Sunday at 6 p.m. And in case you were wondering, there is no known threat in Philly, according to Mayor Michael Nutter who held a press conference earlier today to discuss security on marathon weekend in light of the recent attacks in Paris. Plan accordingly—and be sure to check out our map of the best places to catch the race if you're not running!
