Local band Summer Fiction recently landed a pretty sweet gig: They recorded a series of music videos in the Divine Lorraine, the 10-story Romanesque hotel on North Broad and Fairmount that first opened in 1894 and is set to become a 109-unit, mixed-use residential development. Summer Fiction's Bill Ricchini tells Philly Mag that he's "always been obsessed with that building. […] We were thrilled to get that kind of access." The three music videos were filmed on the 10th floor of the building and feature wide-sweeping shots of graffiti-laden walls, exposed wooden rafters, and plenty more dilapidated delights of the Divine Lorraine.
