What $2,500 Will Rent You in Philadelphia Right Now

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a dive into the options available for a certain price point in various neighborhoods. Is one person's loft another persons's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $2,500/month.

Fishtown/East Kensington (1 bed, 1 bath)—This massive loft space—it's 2,800 square feet—takes up an entire floor of an old factory. The listing states that there are 30 windows, "tons" of built-in closets in the bedroom, and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Garage parking is also included.

Logan Square (2 beds, 2 baths)—This three-story condo has been recently renovated and features hardwood floors, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and lots of storage space. The unit also comes with a parking space and a community roofdeck.

Washington Square West (2 beds, 2 baths)—Located next to Jewelers Row and Antique Row, this cozy three-story rentalfeatures a working wood-burning fireplace on the first floor. Upstairs there's a family room (or bedroom) and a full bath. You'll find the master suite on the third level. There's also a community courtyard.

West Philly (5 beds, 2.5 baths)—This bi-level apartment in the West Village, a gated residential development at North 48th St., comes with a private 1-car garage and a roof deck, soft-close cabinets, concrete countertops, and a video intercom entry. The development also has plans to offer a shuttle to University City.

Pennsport (3 beds, 2 baths)—We don't know if we'd go so far as this listing goes to say that this 1,700-square-foot apartment looks like a Real World house, but it does have potential. The brand new property features a rooftop deck, a hot tub in the master bathroom, and a spiral staircase. First month's rent is free.
