This Elkins Park estate is seriously struggling to find an owner. Since we last wrote about the 7,468-square-foot property in May, it's undergone three price cuts, including its most recent $25,000 chop. And that's not including the other chops it has taken since the 8-bedroom, 6-full bath property first hit the market in July 2014 for $1,595,000. The mansion was most recently renovated by current owner Dennis Cook, who gave the property a paint job, restored the hardwood floors, and installed sconces and chandeliers, according to the Inquirer. It was originally built in the 1920s and still retains much of its architectural details, including a marble fireplace, fountain, and floors, 9-foot ceilings, and servant call switches.

And in addition to the home's sun room, wine cellar, indoor pool, and master bedroom with his-and-her separate bathrooms, the 3-car garage has its own artist's studio. The asking price of this home on 429 Ashbourne Rd., Elkins Park is $1,195,000.
