Savings on I-676 Rolls Over to Chestnut Street

Construction is slated to begin next month on the I-676 project, which will see the restoration of seven bridges over the arterial near Logan Square. And according to Plan Philly, new funding from Act 89 is allowing the project (and others) to be sped up considerably, netting savings that are now being shifted to speed up needed repairs to Chestnut Street's bridges.
