Philly Not as Strong as It Seems

Well, apparently there are still a few people who haven't drunk the Kool-Aid. Philadelphia Business Journal guest columnist Glenn Blumenfeld waxed realistic about the future of Philadelphia today. He says "on the surface" it seems like things are picking up in Center City (the papal visit, DNC, the NYT article ranking Philly as the third best place to visit in the world). "However, while more people are choosing to live in the city and more retailers and restaurants are popping up to support these 24/7 inhabitants, fewer people are actually finding jobs and working in the city."
