This Sunday, February 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a Northern Liberties estate sale at 999 North 6th Street will be selling off many of the personal belongings of Dr. Isidor P. Strittmatter. The estate used to be a private hospital run by the doctor, and the items up for auction include "a mission-style desk with three chairs custom made from the Oak timber of the English warship Augusta, a Revolutionary War frigate that ran aground in the shallows of the Delaware River during the Battle of Red Bank in 1777.
